If you are planning on allowing the auctioning of live animals, please check into the federal and state regulations regarding the interstate/international movement of animals.

The US is currently battling 2 large foreign animal disease outbreaks - Exotic Newcastle Disease (END) in parts of California and Monkeypox in the Mid-West. Monkeypox - link to CDC's info page (http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/monkeypox/factsheet.htm) is of special concern because it is transmissable to people.
